This week’s HomWork assignment was to turn someone’s neg comment into something more positive that they could have said! When I was a teenager I did an art day out at Arthur Boyd’s artist retreat called Bundanon, which is on the Shoalhaven River and had beautiful plants and ferns all over the property, it’s really peaceful.

Unfortunately, I remember some woman killing the vibe when she walked over to me and a friend while we were working on our little section of a giant piece of butcher’s paper, she looked down her nose at us and said “The trick is knowing when to stop.” Hahaha I mean it’s not that bad, but if she was intending to be a warm and friendly educator she probably should have checked her tone, and maybe said something like the above: “Take a break, review and refine.”
